Down To Earth Worm Farm We are a successful and growing worm farm. We are family owned and run. We have been in business since 1997, selling worms for Vermico.com (several years) and directly to you the home composter. Now we are only specializing in growing worms for the everyday person - without the high cost. We sell the red wiggler (Eisenia fetida), (AKA manure worm, compost worm, tiger worm). We weigh only worms - no bedding. The worms that we send to you are the larger worms (breeder worms), so they are ready to breed and start reproducing. We pride ourselves in our one on one help and in the quality of our worms. You will not find that any where else! One pound of worms will contain about 1000 - 1500 worms! To assure live delivery of your worms we ship on Mondays (or Tuesday if a holiday) via USPS Priority Mail. We guarantee our healthy worms will arrive in good condition at the physical address you provide on your order. Sorry, we cannot guarantee orders that we were given the incorrect address. When we receive payment for your worms, we will contact you with your shipping date. Worms ordered after Sunday 12 p.m. will be shipped the following week. Please make arrangements with your mail carrier, due to the fact that worms will not live long in a hot mailbox! *We reserve the right to slightly alter the shipping dates if inclement weather threatens. Remember, worms are living things and do not always follow schedules! |
